Creative Process Group: Letters from Love

In honor of the month of pink hearts, red roses, and sweet treats, we're planning a love-themed evening --- with a twist. Instead of writing words of love to someone special in our lives as is traditional, we invite you to join us for a night of exploration and reflection as we write a letter to ourselves from Love.

In her book, Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear, Elizabeth Gilbert references many creative practices that have helped her live her life authentically despite doubt, uncertainty, and fear. One of these practices was also referenced in her best-selling memoir Eat, Pray, Love - writing a letter to yourself from the perspective of love. There will be copies of Big Magic available to browse/read at our event, and plenty of time to journal and share (only if you feel comfortable) our individual Letters from Love. 

For those that would like to pen the more traditional "valentine", we will also have an area set up to write messages on blank notecards. An option could be to write anonymous loving messages on heart shaped paper to sprinkle around Waco on Valentine's week. Or, simply be creative in making handmade Valentine's for your family and friends!
